Latest E2B is v2.10b (for Win11) - download .zip file and extract files to a new folder and run Make_E2B.exe and then use the Update_E2B button or just extract the files straight onto your E2B USB drive's Partition 1.

  2. You cannot use original Ventoy zip file from github!
You must use the E2B version.
    Just run \e2b\Update agFM\Update_to_latest_Ventoy_version.cmd

    1. All it is doing at that point is copying some files to Partition 2 of the USB drive.
Maybe you have a faulty USB drive?
Try copying some large 100MB+ video files to Partition 2 of the USB drive and see if they play OK from the USB drive or run FakeFlashTest or try another USB drive?

  5. Hello, how are you, after several updates of the latest versions, I have found that when installing windows 10 when choosing the option to install w10, without prompt, in the installation I get a screen with this error, what can I do?

    1. Open iso on usb drive and see if sources/install.wim or install.esd exists.
Try simple name without Spanish characters?

    2. in souces exists sources/install.esd , install.wim not exist.I will try the iso with another name, although I think that is not the problem and I inform..

I have generated with the meidacreationtool21h2.exe tool, an iso that I have copied to iso\win10\ , and it gives me that error.

With the same tool I have generated a usb, and that one does load the installation for me.

    3. Ok. If still fails give details. What iso, bit, language, dual or single. Using e2b legacy menu, agFM or ventoy, or uefi 64 or Uefi32,etc

    4. Hi again Steve, and thanks for the answers and help in advance.

Good, I add version information and how the error occurs.
The first thing when removing the ñ , it has progressed in the installation, but finally it gives me an error like the installation files are not available, if this iso , I generate it directly in a pure usb, the installation launches without problems, but if I copy that iso of the windows generator to the pendrive, so the final error is the following, after loading the installation files:

      windows installation problem
windows cannot install the required files. Make sure that all the files required for the installation are available and restart the installation with error code 0x8007025D.

This error comes out executing the legacy option, whether I use wimboot or not, also when I click on the option to press any key if you want to repair the computer, in the 3 options.

If this image is generated by the windows tool, I generate it to a usb, it installs w10 without problem, but if I generate iso and copy it to e2b, it gives the error mentioned above in the installation.

I choose in the generation of the iso in the w10 tool only x64, in Spanish and unchecking the option to adjust the options to this pc.

      Information:
The iso is an iso of windows 10 x64 only, in Spanish.
Generated from the Microsoft tool MediaCreationTool21H2.exe

I use the legacy option, since the laptop I'm trying to install it on doesn't have uefi.
The e2b pendrive has the versions
      windy : 1,057
      agfm version 1.80
      e2bversion: 2.13

    5. I tested same ISO, I think (4.30 GB (4,625,989,632 bytes))
I installed Win10 Pro x64 Espanol using E2B legacy menu.
      CRC32: 5161C8D6
      MD5: 5E049F3BD89C5EFF374A62FD7FF24134
      SHA-1: 8903659BA0942BA607813D2B0AF71FABC6F7995A
      It installed without any problem.
Maybe the ISO file on your USB drive is corrupt?

    6. I have generated it several times and copied it to various usbs that I have with e2b, and it always gives me an error, however when I launch it from the pure usb generated the iso in it directly from the tool if it installs it...

If you can send me a link to the iso that you installed correctly and I'll try it, if not, I may have to generate a USB with e2b from 0 and try, because I don't see an explanation...

    7. You need to compare the checksum/hash of the ISO file that you downloaded with the ISO file ON THE USB DRIVE. The usual problem is that the file ON THE USB DRIVE is corrupt.

    8. Once Windows setup starts, any problem like this is due to corrupt ISO. Either the ISO was corrupted during download or after copying to the USB drive. Try opening the ISO in 7Zip and then opening the \sources\install.wim iso in 7zip. Otherwise re-download the ISO.

    9. Thanks again for all your help Steve.
As I put you above there is no install.wim, there is an install.esd inside sources, the iso, launched in a pure usb, is installed, in fact, I have generated an iso of the complete structure generated in the pure usb and it gives the same error, I have downloaded 2 other different isos, compared the hashtab, and it keeps giving me the error...

One of the USBs that I have with e2b, I will generate it from 0 and try because it doesn't make sense, yesterday I also tried the installation on another PC, and the error is always the same.

It has opened the iso with 7zip, and within sources is install.esd, what do I have to do with 7zip????

      Delete
    10. just double-click on install.esd from within 7zip to open the install.esd file - see if any errors.

      Delete
    11. I click , and i see the estructure of install.esd, i dont know the problem, i generated e2b of 0, and the error continue...

    12. How many different PCs did you test on and how many different USB drives? Are you using USB 3 drive on USB 3 port? If so, try using USB 2 port or connect USB 2 extension cable. Maybe it is a data I/O integrity problem on USB signals?

    13. I've got an image that does work with e2b, downloaded from the hidoc.net windows iso downloader tool.
I don't know why, e2b doesn't like the iso generated by the official microsoft tool, but the one downloaded by the above tool does.

And, repeat that with the microsoft utility generating a usb, it also installed it correctly.

Thanks Steve for the help and answers

    14. Well I downloaded the same ISO yesterday and it was fine for me. Did you also try agFM and Ventoy with the 'bad' ISO?
