Version 1.81 contains 3 bugfixes (in bold) and a few tweaks...
As always, just download and extract E2B to an empty folder and run the \UPDATE_E2B_DRIVE.cmd file to update all your E2B drives.
v1.81 2016-07-09
- New grub4dos \grld 0.4.6a 2016-07-04 (grub4dos USB driver may now work better?)
- $$AddWin2Main.mnu bugfixes for direct booting of Windows Install ISOs from Main menu.
- Bugfix for .isope path problems and + make work if iso on 2nd partition (note: .isoPExxx extensions only work correctly on Removable Flash drives, otherwise convert to .imgPTN files).
- SWITCH_E2B.exe v1.0.12 bugfix for syslinux booting (also supports .imgptn*2* as well as .imgptn*23* extension for special users - .imgptn*2* is NOT supported by E2B though!).
- Power-off sample .mnu file added for systems where F10 does not turn off the system
- New sample .mnu files for SlackOS+persistence, MX-15+persistence, PTN2_boot_any_file.mnu
- Sample file for MainMenuOnly.cfg.
- Change Admin detection test in MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE script so does not rely on Windows executable being present.
- Improved MOVE_IMGPTN script (was omitted from v1.80).
- Improve windows install from ISO, for XML path specification + test .xml file has a 'component' section.
- Fix "%ISOC%" being displayed instead of actual ISO filename.
- Now checks .VHD/.VHDX/.WIM full path for illegal spaces.
- Now checks compatible bootmgr is used for direct VHD\WIM booting.
- QR code stamp option when making E2B drive with MAKE_E2B_USB_DRIVE.cmd (see screenshot)
- New extensions .isoPECD and .isoPE01CD supported for booting ISOs which contain WInPE + other utilities and have a multi-boot menu (.isoPE just boots to WinPE directly, .isoPECD will boot to the ISO's own menu).
- New version RMPartUSB v2.1.731.
The MPI Tool Pack v.0.066 is also now released which includes the new SWITCH_E2B.exe version.
Frettt has also kindly provided a German version of the CSM \menu.lst file for the MPI Tool Pack. You can find it in the Alternate Download Area - Languages folder.
