E2B v1.03 available (includes DPMS2)

Easy2Boot v1.03 can now be downloaded here.

It is essentially v1.01 of E2B + DPMS2 + small changes/bugfixes:

1. DPMS2 added (but not the mass storage drivers - you must download and add these files yourself)
2. New grub4dos version - files/folders can now be sorted alphabetically and are NOT case sensitive (bugfix in grub4dos).
3. Bugfix for large HDDs (>1TB) - E2B reported bad BIOS when it wasn't!
4. Change to XP Step 1 install code - now correct choice is automatically made for the user for most questions.

  1. Hi, thank you for the new release ofg E2B :).

Do you know if there is any way to use a USB 3.0 External SSD (basically a SSD in a USB 3.0 case) without being forced to put a USB "Helper" Drive to install a windows 7 iso ?

    That would be awesome.

  2. No, sorry. USB HDD controllers all report the device as a fixed disk and not a removable disk so it won't work. When Windows boots it will use it's drivers to interrogate all the devices.

The only way I can suggest it to take apart an old working USB pendrive and solder the connections to USB HDD circuit board (piggy-back the two).

    but the step:
"2. Now click the Install grub4dos button (see '2' =>' in the screenshot below) and install grub4dos to the MBR (answer 'Yes') and copy over the grldr file. You must use a 21st May 2013 or later version of the grldr file (this is automatically copied over by RMPrepUSB but it is also in the E2B download).

    "

let my USB-stick throws error, that the grldr file is too old for grubdos. i am using: Install_RMPrepUSB_Full_v2.1.707a
