E2B v2.11c Beta is now available (but needs some English strings translated)

The latest Beta of E2B is now available: v2.11c.

Some of the .mnu files for UEFI/agFM/Ventoy support in \_ISO\MAINMENU folder were 'hard-coded' to English. In the new Beta 2.11c I have now put the menu titles into each of the language files (however they are still in English):

If anyone wants to translate these into your own language, please send me your updated STRINGS.TXT file (I am not very good at Chinese or Russian!).

Instructions

First update to E2B v2.11c Beta, then...

1. Ensure you have set the \_ISO\MyE2B.cfg file to your desired language, e.g.

set LANG=GERMAN

2. Edit the STRINGS.txt file for your language, e.g. \_ISO\e2b\grub\GERMAN\STRINGS.txt. The new untranslated strings are at the bottom of the file.

The English entries (shown above) can then be re-written and saved as a UTF-8 file using Windows NotePad (or another suitable text editor).

3. Finally, test the menu entries by Legacy booting to the E2B menu (you will need to have agFM and 'Ventoy for Easy2Boot' installed on Partition 2 to test some of these out).

For some menu entries, you will need to actually execute them in order to check the alternative menu titles (e.g. to check both the 'Enable' menu and 'Disable' menu text).

4. Email me your new STRINGS.txt file (steve at easy2boot dot com). Don't forget to tell me which language they are for!

I hope to release E2B v2.11 in a few days since v2.10 has a bug so you will need to be quick!
